This has become my accountability this month, rather than long term goals of a race. I haven't logged much for mileage so I am seeking other ways to get myself motivated and out the door.
This was a nice, slow pace (>12-min mile) for the first 7 miles. At the end of their run I felt like I was just warming up so I wanted to push myself at a faster pace and complete my goal of 10 miles. I think we grew accustomed to the slower pace because the Garmin kept reading 10:10ish pace or slower. It really seemed faster than that. I think I'm ready for a good hard long run sometime. Nonetheless it was good to be in the double digits again.
